on the other hand, 100mbps is more than enough for me so maybe i should look for a cheaper 100mbps plan instead of getting the useless 300mbps plan.

so called the local guy. it seems that fiber launch is in motion. he said it should take around 2 more weeks. let's see. maybe it's time to recharge using 6+3 option considering it seems to be disappearing for people on fiber

has anyone done calculation in terms of money saved and the speed that we get? i dont want to go for the long haul as i dont trust my lco. i was thinking of slowly upgrading my package depending upon his service. like 100 then 200 then 300, 1 month recharges and then if everything goes well then maybe long term 300Mbps charge. but if that 6+3 plan is really worth it then i might go for it now.

I am already on 5000 plan that would expire in November or December iirc. 555 per month is pretty solid. Cheaper than what I pay airtel 40mbps vdsl.

@Aakash Malhotra u can opt for WFH 100 3+1 on fiber @ ₹2397.76 actual speed is 125 mbps on this. If ur reeltime plan is expiring opt for reeltime wfh 50 3+1 @ ₹2397.76, by this u will be automatically upgraded to 125 Mbps when fiber comes. Rest no plan can beat 6+3 100 mbps reeltime @ ₹4999 presently as 6+3 300 mbps @₹4999 is discontinued for old customers and u shifts to 300 mbps automatically when fiber upgrade is done. One month for 100 mbps is ₹ 824.82

Updated 9 month plan is also not bad.
Rs.629 effective per month price. Still not bad if you can get given speed most of time.

called the local guy. as expected dumb onu is not available. only option is the 2000 wireless router. decided to not go for it for the time being.
