Excitel dumping 100mbps plan. Upgrading existing plans to 200/300/400mbps

Netlink and Syrotech OLTs are being used in excitel, you can see pictures as well, which is also followed by BSNL FTTH.

Base plan from all providers should be 100 Mbps for 499₹ per month.
200 Mbps - 699₹ Per month
300 Mbps - 999₹ Per Month
500 Mbps - 1499₹ Per month
1 Gbps - 2999₹ Per Month
2 Gbps - 4999₹ Per Month

Basically keeping the price of current plans same, Jio should double the speeds of every plan.

• Excitel will not charge for the device. It will be free to use for the customer. Excitel reserves the right to get the device back from the customer at its discretion.
• OTT Bundle available on the 300 Mbps plans only.
  There is no additional security deposit for the ONU in all cities except Mumbai on specific Fiber plans offered by Excitel. These can be pulled back by Excitel at its discretion.
• We have upgraded the speeds on our existing plans to 200 Mbps, 300 Mbps and 400 Mbps from 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps.
• New plan prices are applicable to all customers starting 07/06/2022
  While promo is on 300 & 400, the 200 Mbps plans will be available to sales on security deposit basis like previously
• There are 2 OTT bundle options available at different costs. Premium one includes Amazon Prime.
• There may be plans available on consumer facing collaterals that might have additional GST charges.

Not a upgrade but I can see a clear downgrade in my speeds. Earlier used to get 115+Mbps U/D but now it hardly reaches 100Mbps.

But seriously after getting the 90 Crore funding these guys are high. Really appreciate them for makin the base plan 200 Mbps. If they get enough users + traction then i definately feel Jio & airtel will definitely make 100 Mbps their entey level plans + at very cheap rates. Everything's looking good for Indian Broadband sector

Also they're showing plans with GST included which is really awesome for common people. I really appreciate what this company is doing

@Life_Warrior For me too... Plan on excitel app is still showing 300 Mbps & speeds are same as usual 350 downloads & 450 uploads. (I don't know why but since 2-3 months I'm getting 350+450 speeds) but not pure 400 in downloading. Maybe they'll take some time to upgrade the plans of existing users. We'll have to wait and see. Let us know whenever you see speed increased to 200 Mbps

All terms are messed up on the site, no clarity on what they're trying to say and what they're doing.

They also have a beta site Best High Speed Broadband Connection in India - Excitel, don't know for what day they're not bringing it live. Still horribly modifying the old website.
