hello mascot thx for the wonderfull guide i have few queries i hope u will solve it i wanna ask i m in lucknow and i use DEN digital services set-top box so i wanna ask can i be able to record serials and view other channel at the same tym?? and my other query is how much mb it take to record a 352*288 resolution video?? and can u make a video on how to record serial how to schedule record how to compress and all that stuff in a single vid thx in advance
 
Thanks buddy !!And Very sorry bro, but won't be able to make Video. I have uploaded one sample Video of quality and resolution of videos which can be recorded using this TV Tuner card.Also , You can do both the Recording and Viewing but depends upon RAM Size. I had 2 GB RAM and it was making trouble while doing that.

I want to view television content on my laptop. I have Acer Aspire 4710 laptop, and I am planning to buy Videocon D2h. Can somebody please confirm whether "iBall USB TV Tuner Card" would be enough for viewing television content on my laptop through videocon D2h.I am not planning for HD stuff, just normal television viewing on laptop. (I don't have a television in my present location and not willing to buy one either)
 
The OP IndianMascot has used it with Videocon D2h, so yes, u shud be able to use it without any issues.
 
It should ideally. Coz ur Laptop will have a USB, and this is a USB TV Tuner after all. Though, my advice wud be that u tell the dealer that u want to use it on ur Laptop, so if in remotest of possibilities, if it doesnt work u can still catch hold of him.
 
Makes pretty much good sense dude, earlier in the day, I took a printout of the dealers in my area, and I would perhaps visit the dealers for a demo when the card arrives at my place through Flipkart. Cheers !!!
 
Great review IndianMascot... Do we have something similar to play/record HD content... (wonder how all the HDTV rip are made.., I mean devices..)
