I am looking for a feature phone for Rs.2500. Don't suggest Samsung. Nokia preffered.
What I need:
1. Bluetooth Hands Free Protocol Support.
2. Single SIM (Dual will do).
3. Minimum 250 entires in contacts.
4. Torch will be added bonus.
Well, I ended up buying Nokia 112 (Dark Grey) from a local store. Cost was Rs.2800.
The last Nokia feature phone I used was 7210 Supernova. Only few things have changed in last couple of years. Charger adapter has got another plastic pin to prevent it from accidentally slipping from power socket. They still use proprietary single pin charger, no micro usb charger. Ear phones are of exact same design!.
Coming to phone, build quality is typical Nokia, UI is simple, has a 1400mAh battery; overall happy with the phone.
I don't have to charge phone everyday. Yay! leasantry: .
Just curious, but why not Samsung?
My personal experience with Samsung feature phone is quite good. It has better signal reception, better ear-piece audio level. Phone are also robust. And most of them come with inbuilt call/sms blocking feature (important for me ). Negative points of Samsung feature phone could be, there parts won't be easily available like Nokia, and perhaps battery life is lower then Nokia.
Anyways Nokia phones are always first choice
Well the experience can be subjective from person to person. I had given my opinion with positives and negatives wrt Samsung feature phones
I have this (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_c6712_star_ii_duos-3921.php) as basic phone for calling, apart from Lumia 620 for Smartphone activity. I am satisfied with both phones.
