Hi,
I have been seeing posters of this seemingly new ISP - Ficus Telecom - in the Nungambakkam (Chennai) area. I called them up today and they said they have about 800 customers in Nungambakkam. Anybody on this forum have it? If so, could you post some speed/ping tests and some feedback on their customer service (if you have faced any issues so far)? Their plans seem to be comparable to that of ACT broadband. Thanks

It's a new service started in Chennai. I avail this connection. Speed is good at service level is also good. So far no complaints from 2 months onwards.

Hi i were using FICUS TELECOM Fiber Connect service for past 30 days, There speed,service is superb, And response was too good, They installed my connection within 24 hours. And i got rebate of Rs.200 each for referring my friends. Asap i earned 400Rs. Thanks for Ficus service.

I have applied for new connection to Ficus ISP. So far I have not got it connected even. So, its difficult to remark on the service post installation. However, I am not happy about the commitments of the executives. I am almost following up every day for the connection, which seems to be roll over.

Plans seems to be little on lower side interms of fup and post fup speeds. In ACT/beam, your uploads are not counted in fup. So technically whatever your download or browse only counts and they have better post fup speeds.

On ficus homepage, i can see they provide free installation, so i think you can ask for a demo connection at you home. Use it for 10-15 days and then decide.
