I took my connection with a basic plan On 16-10-2015. form the buying date to till date. i face connectivity issue. i asked them to provide me a direct fiber connection. but they provided me a shared connection. and after 2months my plan was upgraded from 40MBPS/250GB to 100MBPS/250GB @ 2599..

and i was happy that my speed was upgraded.. i just got 100mbps only for very first day. after that i just got 1 mbps constant and some times 20mbps max. and i complained about it.
and waiting for about 1.5 months to get this solved. but till now only 1 tech person came to my house and checked. but they are saying about 10tech came to my house and checked. and also they are saying that they dont have CAT6 Cable stock right now.. so they cant replace the wire. just use as for now with old one..

The bloody cheats , idiots.. fucking xxx****** ... they are just in a mind set to get money from customer not to support them... *** fuck a** I just warn the new user who are thinking to buy from this ****** fucks.. pls dont buy.. they are not a company... their main aim i just to get money money.. and to lockout the customer

I have to agree on the fact Ficus Telecom's customer service is poor. It would often take a week or so just to get a Ficus Technical person to visit the premises and rectify a problem (other than a modem error problem which would take a day or two).

Coming to my issue-
I am a new subscriber to Ficus Telecom in Nungambakkam. I have subscribed for Ficus Telecoms - 100Mbps 200GB Fantasy plan. In the past month, I had to change 3 routers to try and understand the problem at hand. Still haven't figured it out. Ficus technical person don't seem to be too knowledgeable in this regard as well. All they suggest is N300 or N600 routers. But the problem seems deeper...

The speed in the Fantasy plan subscribed in 100Mbps download and upload. Connecting to the roof-top installed Modem directly would give me somewhere between 66-85 Mbps download and upload but when I place a router in between the Modem Lan cable and my pc, the download speed is at max 12Mbps and upload at 55-60Mbps. Cat 5 and Cat 5e cables checked.

Suspecting the issue to be the router, I had it changed starting from:
(a) D-Link 615 rev T1 D-Link DIR-615 Wireless N 300 Router (Black) - Buy D-Link DIR-615 Wireless N 300 Router (Black) Online at Low Price in India - Amazon.in
(b) Linksys E900 Linksys E900 Wireless-N300 Router - Buy Linksys E900 Wireless-N300 Router Online at Low Price in India - Amazon.in
(c) Netgear JNR3210 Netgear JNR3210-100PES 4PT N300 GIG with USB and EXT. ANT - Buy Netgear JNR3210-100PES 4PT N300 GIG with USB and EXT. ANT Online at Low Price in India - Amazon.in

Some settings done:
PPPOE 'Alway on'
QoS - off
WMS - off
MTU - 1492

Any idea as to why this is? or a suggested router?
