Filing a do not disturb complaint with Airtel

tried doing it... and got this error:



as you can see i am entering 12 december... the system still would not accept the date.

airtel fail.

as expected, it did not work in chrome.

but worked in internet explorer.

and it takes like 3-4 minutes minimum to file ONE SINGLE complaint. what nonsense.

airtel should allow us to forward such sms to a toll free number instead.

It'll take some time for the all promotional stuff to stop. I still can't believe you're receiving promotional calls and SMSs on your brand new number. I'm sure they sold you a recycled number.

yeap. i mentioned it in a different thread. when i tried applying for MNP, the system responded that the number is already registered back in 2008.

sushubh ... i have sent them around 20+ such numbers in email and all i got from them is bullshit crap answers and assurance.. thats why i have moved to my way of blocking them using technology , i mean apps ..if u have android phone , use "Easy Filter" . its such a awesome app.. i still recieve around 5+ spam sms and luckily no spam calls ( but i did receieve one 4 days before and i blackmailed the caller that i will file a court case if she calls me again..ever... ) but good thing is all thessms go into the app directly and doesnt disturb me.. i see those sms once daily and ddelete them...

I use sms blocker & call blocker.
SMS blocker sometimes blocks from senders which it is not supposed to , so I check in program's folder too just like we have spam folder for emails.

^^ ya but easy filter has both inbuilt .. and it has few nice features like allow only contacts / block only call or block only sms or block unknown nos.. things liek that...
