Thanks for sharing, what is the exact code(*123# etc etc) for getting the amount of free data usage left??

Send "DATA 3G" to 53733

and u ll know ur Remaining data usage.

Whats the difference..?What do u mean...

KBps .... Kilo Bytes per second
MBps .... Mega Bytes per second

Kbps .... Kilo bits per second
Mbps .... Mega bits per second

8 bits = 1 Byte

Now check again your 1st post and edit with correct letters. Then only it will have the correct meaning, you want to express.

Nothing wrong in learning unknown things.

Err i dont quite get it... U say we have 5300 GB for 6 months... Isnt that like 900GB a month... So according to ur our calculation u should see a downgrade of speed after 900GB not 150 GB ... Btw i have crossed 200GB this month & still get the same speed i was gettin before ie 2.4Mbps... As other have suggested they are just upgrading ur network to 14.4 mbps... So quit winning coz we folks in maharastra are still have only 3.6Mbps max & get around 2-2.5 Mbps...

No one was winning dude..

Nice spelling btw..

When u get reduced speeds for about a week, after u have crossed a certain limit, u naturally start asking those questions.
I got my speeds increased only Yesterday. But still, they arent the best...

i guess may users had this question for a long time..

Bsnl 3g has been providing users with about 5425338 Mb (Roughly 5300 Gb) on the 4200 Rs unlimited plan..

Is the above image of your modem software or some website ?
Which modem are you using ?
Thanks.

I used to get a Maximum download speed of 650 Kbps.

Now that i crossed 150 Gb, i m getting a download speed of 120 Kbps

I used to get download speeds of about 550 Kbps in idm.

Now Despite the software i use to download i get no more than 120 Kbps.

I guess once users cross 150 Gb, their speeds are reduced to 1 Mbps speeds.

What is the software (connecting mobile/datacard) you are using? Looks cool anyway...

Nice u caught one spelling mistake in a 5-6 line post made at 4:00 in the morning? Good for u... BTW u were not asking questions... You clearly stated that you had figured out the max Data limit for BSNL & ur 1st post suggested that u had hit that limit so were getting reduced speeds... BTW there have been many post here talking about how the south BSNL zone is going through an upgrade to 14.4Mbps speed (even before u started the thread)... Put 2 & 2 together...

hi im bsnl 3g user .. its true i was getting 600-700 kbps till 3 days back... now between 120 to 140 kbps.. still i have unlimited plan till may 17.. is there anything i can do to get back my previous speeds.. like from tomorrow i.e., march 1st i can have full speeds ... or my limit is over for the entire plan i.e., till may 17 2011.... Pls any1 guide me abt this.. Thnx ... is there anything i can do to get back my previous speeds..:o

there is no 150gb or some fixed limit like that.. i enquired with bsnl ppl... actually i dloaded more than 1 tera byte with 500kbps speed.. but now reduced to 120kbps.. one reason might b th upgradaton to 14.4 mbps or bsnl might have downgraded their servers... wait until april 1 .. probably they might reallocate their servers to original speeds, or we will become fools on 1st of april , as usual by this idiotic bsnl...
