Well yeah, it sucks that FOX cancelled this after one season. But, you have to give credit to them for giving shows like Firefly, Dollhouse, Fringe etc. a chance when no other network will take that risk. They are in the business of making money and unfortunately Firefly is a cult show which didn't draw good ratings.

just finished the first and of course the last season of firefly and i can see why the internet is so angry with fox for canceling the show! i mean the show is fantastic. it has a indiana jones like leading character in a futuristic sci-fi setting. the overall premise is somewhat similar to Doctor Who while the music is all western. there are some amazing dialogues and conversations in the show. some parts are absolutely hilarious. i can safely say it is one of the most entertaining series i have ever seen!

It's the year 2517 AD and Windows XP lives

So I am re-watching the scifi show Firefly today and in episode 11 Jayne is re-programming the trash container so they can steal the laser gun. And for just a moment you can clearly see a computer screen with the XP desktop that has the 'add component wizard' dialog box displayed.

Found it to be quite funny. Grabbed a screen shot of it.

Fire fly and Jericho were 2 awesome shows. I watched the firefly movie. That was ok but the series is way better
