Well, this is a pretty common thing happening today. Just realised earlier this week that imageshack reads FB cookies, and automatically 'signs' you in.
you can disable it from your settings. i have disabled it.
what i have on this board is account creation through facebook. this is different from personalization.
i can install some facebook widgets here. that would show the stories that your friends have liked on this forum. without you logging in. that's what personalization is.

by the way a friend ran firesheep on his PG's network today. he was pretty successful in accessing his friend's account. i bet guys in colleges like Amity with a public wireless internet are going to have a lot of fun. facebook i think is already working on implementing HTTPS for all user accounts.
