Fivenet service?

hi guys,am looking to change my BB connection to fivenet.Before i take the connection need to know the service of fivenet..hows the speed,any downtime issues, FUP?Also have seen the there are couple of people who provide fivenet service in sion koliwada..to name a few deep communications,samrat etc..Both of them have agreed to provide service to my area..Is there any recommended person from whom i should subscribe?Need inputs from users of fivenet..Thanks..

As you have competition in your area, i think services from either of them would be pretty good. As far as 5net is concerned, it is totally the best ISP imho. However, it all boils down to how good your local service provider is. speedd awesome, no FUP, even has its own youtube cache servers, etc.

how much does your cablewallah charge for line maintenance charges?did any notice their new diwali plan?its 6k for 1yr upto 10Mbps speed..seems good until they provide the mentioned speeds..

^^ Which area are you from? M currently shelling out Rs 387 p.m. for 1mbps UL. Damn i was quoted 7k p.a. for the same plan. Not to mention my cablewalla(Vijay services, mulund) SUCKSSSSSSS BIGGGGGGGGG F***INGGG TIME!!! Sry, they really do suck big time. To get a problem solved, i had to call them 7 days a week, and they send a bunch of computer-illiterate a**es on the 7th day who CANT F*KIN TYPE IN THE PASSWORD TO THEIR LAPTOP...nvm, i could go on and on.

Yea it sure is cheap, because we have competition here offering just as cheap plans, and yea Rs 387 is all that i pay p.m.

@sri - I think you should contact them directly. They are headquartered in Sion IINM. Their website IPTV page is blank and I haven't heard of anyone who uses their IPTV services.

Well, few of my questions have already been solved......
I have a few questions remaining though -
1) Is it allowing torrents freely?
2) Does it give me a wireless router?

As regards availability in my area - Borivali, i feel, i can contact them directly and ask for it......but do answer my above 2 questions!!

And what about the downtime as well - how long does it take when the net is disconnected??
