I personally hate when they update pricing couple of times in a single day, have seen a hike of Rs.1000-1500 in a single day for a smartphone on their online store and
a friend who wanted to purchase a phone was surprised to see price gone up when he logged into his FK account which was way too lower while he accessed the page as a guest.

They are keeping up with Amazon in all fronts:

When I was planning the purchase of Note 3, I have seen the discount(in WS-retail) was changing everyday. 3% to 14%. I bought it when it was 14%.

So neither is Flipkart is interested in launching its own line of smartphones and nor their own line of ebook readers which they have clarified earlier.
