They haven't sold PhonePe.
Since Phonepe has the largest user base of around 46% and they have to comply with regulations to lower the user base to less than 33% , its better to have 2 upi apps and remain dominant.

These links are the best. They don't take you where they are supposed to go. The FAQ on desktop has barely 5 qstns but on android there are like 30 lol.
