Saw this message. I was shocked for a second and then I read the "Just kidding" line. I am expecting this to become real some day. Godamn you flipkart. There are still people with phones not having internal memory or who don't want too much apps. Taking away the mobile or the desktop website is seriously going to affect a lot of people.

Flipkart is smoking some weird shit these days.

it only happens in India where successful businesses Screw themselves so easily,
I am sure anybody who had this idea would have been a big shot, with small Ba//s ofcourse, he would never
be able to fix the broken strings between Masses and Smartphone users of a shopping spree website.

on the other hand brands in developed countries like US/UK apply great efforts to grow and retain every bit of customers they came along their
road to success, they don't play such foolish tricks/strategies and that's why they become invincible.

Flipkart is trying to enter US stock market. These all seems to be like a way to lure US investors.

I have feeling that once it enters US stock market - original investors will sell off their shares.

most of the investors in flipkart are already us based funds. indian companies do not have the capacity to invest 200-400 million dollars in one go. flipkart wants to list on nasdaq with an ipo. that is very different from getting us based investors.
