FM Radio Reception

This is important when you TRANSMIT a VHF signal.
For receiving FM broadcast signals 88MHz to 108MHz,
the circuit has tuning facilities.
antenna matching fine tuning/network analyser/VWSR meter / Oscilloscope/ are not needed. cost in millions Dollars? From where you got the figure?
For Rs 50/= you get a FM receiver which receives all local FM stations !
No body takes the trouble of putting beam antennas / Rf amplifiers etc
to receive distant FM B/C stations.
This website gives more details but does not mention need for network analyser etc !
Active FM-Amplifier

Also portable Fm Radios incorporating TV FM/audio also available.

It is question of whether u want ametuar quality or pro quality.
Tunable circuit without tuning on equipment seems funny to me.
For hobby purpose people tune by listening on radio. The input signal varies but it is ok for hobby. But when someone has to make pro quality then all equipments r required.
We r talking about price in rupees. from where u dreamed of dollars. No problem. living in India & dreaming about dollars.
In vector network analyser vswr is built in. Hv u seen or used it?

The above circuit is narrow band one & is tunable to just one frequency. Then other fm station r mistuned. The fm booster must be wideband one with linear frequency response in 88~108 mhz band. Return loss must be better than 15 db to hv better matching.
Hope this is ok for now.
