PROBLEM INFO AVAILABLE Modem Utstar 300R2U
after OS login, I'm getting the security notification balloon after 5 minutes.....
Firefox loads in 3 seconds.
have to wait 5 minutes to surf
modem suspect ? checked Ok in bsnl office
I do not have any startup applications (except AVAST AV,HD Audio, WordWeb) nothings shows in my taskbar.
Click an empty space near task bar. properties
Hide inactive icons Uncheck.
within 20 seconds of power on your system is ready with all applications/drivers loaded and , next 3 seconds your FF is ready.
Modem also tested elsewhere and working normal.
Another "bermuda triangle " problem !
Perform Disk cleanup/Defragmentation C:/drive.
In ccleaner another option to delete all old System Restore Points. Delete as many as you can.
( latest cannot be deleted)
Download Anvir taSK MANAGER free and check start up items , and disable all except MS. application:
( or check in msconfig )
