Free Vouchers on Long term plans and customer care experience

I had recently bought the 6 month silver plan and received following,

1). 5 vouchers of 200 gb extra data under the offer instead of 6 vouchers.

2). One Multipurpose Voucher. (100gb extra/month i.e 50% extra data offer or 1 month extra)

Since I was supposed to get vouchers as per their offer, I called customer care. After discussing, complaining, calling, emailing to customer care for a month and then with the Jio Apellate authority, they could not help me and just answered stupidly that you have received vouchers. I told them ,I HAD RECEIVED BUT THERE IS ONE VOUCHER LESS.

The customer care did not register a complaint and because of that Appellate authority was not ready to help.
Just recently when I called them again, one guy told me that you had received one voucher earlier. Then I came to know that before purchasing 6 month plan, I had purchased 1 month Silver plan in which I received One 200gb data voucher.

Then after further clarification I understood that its available for first 6 vouchers only. So now after this plan, If i recharge with any other plan, I will not receive the vouchers. I hope it helps you guys as the customer care had no idea earlier and they did not explain properly about the offer. All I could wonder was why only 5 vouchers were offered, when the benefit said 6.

Regarding the Multipurpose voucher, if you want to select between the Data or Validity then it gives you the option on redeem page.

Anyone receiving vouchers with new recharge after using 6?

The Jio website states that 'Extra GBs are available for 6 months as introductory benefits'
So basically you get total 6 vouchers of additional data, no matter whichever plan you recharge with.
If you recharge with 6 monthly plans, you will get one voucher each month. If you recharge with a 6 month plan. you will get all 6 vouchers at a time (assuming you have not got any voucher before).

Thanks for the information. What happens if you redeem the 6th voucher that has an option of extra validity or data? Would you then be able to use the remaining 5 vouchers and get extra data each month in addition if you choose the data option? In addition, can these 5 vouchers be used at any time or are they for each consecutive month? For example, could you use 2 vouchers in one month?

Gosh this reminds me of the Big Bazaar 'discount coupons'. One need a degree in law to decipher all this.

Hi, the multipurpose voucher is a separate single voucher. Once you click redeem, it will ask you to select either validity or extra data option .

The 6 single vouchers of 200gb which you are supposed to receive are limited time offer in addition to the Multipurpose voucher. You can redeem 2 but at a time only one is active. I dont have much experience in this regard as its just my 2nd month of usage. I hope i have solved your query.

The Multipurpose voucher once redeemed will renew automatically every month on the same date.
Will post my experience again next month in this regard.
