MTNL Delhi Freedome 800 - Speed not increasing at nights

For the past few days, speed stays the same even at night, (~64 KBps) despite multiple resets.

My exchange had changed recently but everything was fine for a few days up untill couple days back. Is anyone else here on the same plane not getting the bump as well.

Could the modultion in the router page have anything to do with this (I played around with it a little but changed it back to G.DMT)

Whats going on with MTNL? This was by far the best plan far as downloading went

thank god i am not alone!!! the speed didn't increase yesterday and its the same today as well. i am from sarojini nagar(south delhi). hope MTNL fixes this ASAP!! my torrent downloads are paused...and 512kbps can't even play 360p on youtube...so frustrating!!

Yup same here (Hauz Khas-South Delhi) Have complained as well but hoping not to see a Linesman with ladder to check my connection haha.
Have to admit that was getting 2Mbps all the time for a few days before this thing happened. Guess they are up to some system/server overhauling and would take a while before they rectify it considering its sarkari ...

the problem has been resolved at my end...i am still getting 2mbps since the morning :rofl: btw i lodged a complaint last night here : :: MTNL Fault Reporting System :: Telephone Complaints and the Linesman did come with a ladder a couple of hours ago. Did something, did not bother me and went away. But my problem was already resolved early in the morning, so i didn't bother him too. Even Jor Bagh extension(South Delhi) has the same problem, i am not sure if it has been rectified there too. Not a line issue for sure. Do not play around with your router settings.

I have modulation set to Auto, nothing wrong with that I hope? (It syncs to ADSL 2 plus, Annex M)

Anyway, I noticed the speed increased around 6am this morning and lasted till around 2.
I'd much rather see the speed increase around the expected times. Lets see how it goes tonight :S

Whole day 2Mbps today! Didn't change till late last night so slept off disappointed
but woke up to a pleasant surprise of speed boost that is still on..fingers crossed!
