They've launched the good plans in places where airtel has virtually decimated them. Wonder what's stopping them from going pan India.And that 1mbps isn't post fup. That's my ftth connection.

I think Airtel has spread very well in Chennai. I mean, a lot of business establishments these days in Chennai seem to have fixed line numbers starting in 4 than 2.

Bad service of BSNL helped private companies penetrate, but now even they have become bad & BSNL have improved a lot. Though, in several places the gap remains. But, the difference between the two has lessened over time, in the sense, private companies quality going down & BSNL improving.

Does this connection require one of those stupid Web Logins? I dont want to have to deal with that given at times I am using Laptop, at times ipad/ iPhone and at times a NAS to download stuff. Or family using their devices. Just want an always on connection that does not need authentication from People. If there is a bypass for that via the Router, I am fine with that too.
