MTNL Delhi Get mtnl 4mbps at cheap rates

so currently i am on mtnl 999 combo : 2mbps upto 25GB and 1 mbps after that
but from the past 4 months i call mtnl on the 4th of every month and change my plan to 4mbps combo plain wtih FUP 60GB and use it to download torrents and when i use up the entire 60GB which happens in a week i call them and ask them to change back my plan to 1 mbps. In this way i use 4 mbps but at cheaper rates.
though if you try this remember to change back to your orignal plan according to your bill cycle and you will have to call them 4-5 times they will say if slot is available they will change or that it will be changed on the 1st of next month ,ignore this and keep telling them to change back.

MTNL Mumbai has 1000 combo 4mbps till 25 GB and 1mbps after that. But sadly my SNR is so bad that I have to remain on 2mbps

You're just abusing the plan change option.

I thought mtnl plan change take place only on 1st of every month and allowed only once a month.
How are you giving the plan change request?

by calling on 1500 you have to be persistent for them to change.

Such things make MTNL make rules for plan change as clearly its abuse of the system.

Once they catch this they will come up with some rules that u can not change plan for 3 months or so. etc

Don't they get suspicious, you are calling the same people every month for change of plans?

CC will have a record of the plan changes till now and the next time you persist on changing the plan back before the end of the month which in itself is strange, they will detect the abuse pattern and flag it in their system. At the end of the day if you are not getting charged, it is just a billing error and since this is a state owned service, there is a good chance they will bill you retroactively for the usage.

Besides why would you admit to something like this on a public forum, especially when it can be traced back to you?
