Saw a report two days back- Google slides, doc, sheets recieved some updates. Haven't seen this interface in Gmail before, seems new to me. Looks good

sadly actual settings is still a shit fest. they just made some of the settings accessible from the front ui.

ok so gmail settings might not have been updated visually but there seems to be a bunch of new options. not sure when they were added. i can completely hide sections listed in the left pane. i can hide the hangouts and meet applets from the bottom left. and a few new settings like customizable signatures and stuff. if you haven't gone through your settings in a while, you might check it now!
