Won't a leaked build from Lollipop require Android 5.0 libraries to work? Because this app is working on all versions post 4.0 rooted or otherwise.

A lot of google apps have got the material design officially on non-L builds! I am guessing these apps do not really require L yet. Would be stupid considering L would take years to get even 50% market share for Android devices.

Right. What I meant was these material design apps have been officially ported by Google. Though they might take atleast 15-20 days or even more to reach everyone. A leaked build from 5.0 won't work on 4.x devices.
