It has widened and the button's width also seems changed.
Btw I would have liked the layout more if they would let us choose what icons we would like to see in the dock. Like It shows Maps for me which I don't use. I would like Youtube but apparently Google doesn't think its important enough for me. :/

I wonder if they are going to make the desktop UI cardish as well. I hate the current UI. It basically forced me to disable conversations after so many many years. I kept on deleting mails without going through all the threads in the mails.
Would have to wait for a couple of days I guess.
