there is no limitation. vbulletin and vbseo believes that individual pages of a thread are well individual web pages...


wordpress tends to point blog post pages to the first page so i was sort of confused. forum of course is very different in nature.


essentially... canonical links on forums are designed to point links like:

which also sort of make sense.

I ensure that i use this functionality. But i have observed that normally, the "+1" button appears on last post in the thread or on a page only.....

I noticed this again right now. Is this button meant only for last post in a thread? If u miss out the last post, then u cant add "+1" to it.

^ It was added to the last post after I and a few others made a point that we need the +1 at the bottom of the page too as chances are high that regular users go to the first new post rather than start from the top of the thread. For those users, the +1 button - which was then at the top only - would not be noticeable. @admin said he wasn't able to give it a proper shape at the bottom of the page and hence put it within the last post

+1 button is for the entire page and not specific posts. both the buttons on the page do the same thing. give a +1 to the page.

Ok, so u mean that the button on the last post is meant for the whole page & not for that specific post?

Regarding sharing the +1s on Public profile, i think u had mentioned earlier as well. I have added that tab to my profile.
