nice. for me it has been bad so far. it dropped from 100 to 95% within a few minutes of use.
i do not get the new brightness settings. i have turned on the automatic management. but it still lets me change brightness manually and i am not sure it changes from there automatically. :\
screen on time depends on usage and will not be same for a recharge cycle. if you are a heavy user you get more SOT and less standby time. if you are a light user you get less SOT but more standby time.
I fully understand that but before that, you have to consider incredibly lower standby time on Nexus 5 and I think other stock devices too. I can speak for Nexus 5 and 90% of battery consumption happens when foreground activities are happening, that is when display is on. Agree that heavy foreground tasks like gaming affect screen on time but that's the other thing and you are knowing that heavy task is underway and consumption is attributed to it. Android tells you about such resource in buttery option to get overall idea about usages pattern and ultimately derive rough conclusion about backup.
