Me too staying away due to insanely high prices right now. And there's lot much scope in improvement from design and price aspect. Its costly tech right now as it belong to niche segment.

PINNING can also be used when you need to give phone to someone else for making a call.
like you PIN any app, and allow dial pad and give phone to someone who asked only to make a call
but he may take attempt to peek on other stuff, you SCREEN PIN it and give it, he would either need to know the key combination or enter the PIN if PIN security is selected.

A good move to make privacy even better.

Guest mode is also cool.

Guest mode is one of the best thing happened to android because the way it is implemented in lollipop. It pretty much syncs everything and isolates from main account. Good to easily share device with family member or in emergency situation to quickly access contacts etc.
