Just a glance. Looks just like Chrome Browser with some add ons.

google has just said that the OS would use chrome browser as the front end. but nothing is confirmed for now. all the screenshots being 'leaked' online are probably fake. google usually comes out with something unexpected. they know that chrome os has to be more than just a web browser. we would only find out sometime next year.
