I guess the possible reason is that since the past 1-1.5 months I have hardly gone out with internet on. Exams going on, and since the last 30-35 days I have only gone out for 5-8 days. So I haven't subscribed to any net plan, just use WiFi at home and so Google doesn't have any resource to track my location outside. I have the habit of keeping GPS off (to save battery) so Google couldn't use that either.

I walk about a mile everyday at my workplace. Maybe I should keep location and Internet on to know how much I walk
