Age may not be on his side but he certainly can bat 1000 times better than those Rahane and Rohit Sharma who were asked to open for India on dropping Sehwag. And the sort of start he gives certainly helps India a lot. Even if he isn't in the best of form, he somehow creates fear for most bowlers and that's enough to prove how lethal he still is.

I agree with u. But the only problem with him is - ATTITUDE. He very easily gets complacent, and that clearly appears from his lackadaisical approach to the game. Making silly mistakes once in a while is fine. Everyone does that. But always? It cant be tolerated. And then, theres the other factor that Sehwag, minus his batting, is a negative on the team balance when that happens.
