well the software is not yet polished enough. and the device is probably a rough prototype. the good thing is that the phone is likely to receive massive software updates which would be more frequent unlike the ones for windows mobile.and these updates would be free. yipee!
its opensource. initially it may not be as powerful. but in future it wud be very popular. u can add/remove features u dont want, write ur own code, etc etc
