Google, OpenDNS, Cloudflare DNS with Airtel XStream Fiber feels very slow.

I run two instances of AdGuard Home with Google and OpenDNS as my upstream DNS server.

Slow DNS resolving disturbs me and my family members.

Am I facing this issue because of Airtel or something else.

tracert 1.1.1.1 and ping 1.1.1.1 shows me average speed of 3ms.

Use airtel default dns it will work fine and also enable ipv6 that will help as well. Even I have experienced the same but in gaming. The gaming experience suddenly degraded since 2 or 3 weeks. Personally i like level 3 dns since i was using local cable isp but since i shifted to airtel i didnt needed to but google and cloudflare dns have started acting up not sure why. But default dns works fine for me.

Okay. I'll try. I can't enable IPv6 as I have a static IPv4 address and it is configured in bridge mode within my pfSense firewall.

I think its because of Airtel. Only some delays with no packet loss. 4ms of delay shouldn't be a problem I think.

May be its Airtel's routing.

If they are just upstream to your own adguard instances it could just be an issue with the adguard setup?

May be. Adguard has been having issues with resolving speed. I am confused now. I'll try using pihole.
