So i recently discovered that there is no option for video calling in the dialler of pixel 2. i also have Redmi note 3 with stock MIUI as well as Lineage OS and both of them can Call/Recieve Video Calls. Can someone please confirm this.

PS: When i inserted the jio sim for the first time in the pixel 2 xl i got a messege from jio saying the this device does not support True HD vice call (Like hell it doesn't ) , But i am able to make HD calls from it.

yup. i think nexus and pixel devices do not include the volte video calling thingy. if you have duo installed, it is part of dialer now. even the duo calls are listed in calling logs. if you give it permission.

@Nishant should be able to confirm. i have never used jio sim on my n/p phones.

Yes i noticed that the dialer wanted me to setup Duo for video calling. But i wanted to know if i would be able to recieve a normal video call through duo on pixel 2 even with my mobile data switched off.

ViLTE wont get provisioned on Pixel XL from 4636 menu but is provisioned on my Redmi Note 4. Seems it is upto Jio to allow provisioning for it.
