Google Pixel 4XL insane pricing

This phone's pricing has been really pissing me off since i am stuck with my nexus 5x, 16b because of this.

I think google doesn't want too many users using pixel to keep pricing so high, as they had bunch of law suits filed with LG because of boot-loop. My nexus 5x had bootloop issue too 15 days before its end of warranty. Motherboard had to be replaced which was done free of cost from LG but whole trip to service center which is quite far twice was pain and whole day almost gone.

I tried bunch of phones like OnePlus, Realme x2, they are just too heavy and feel like a brick in hand, camera is not that good either compared to nexus 5x. I found colors too dark on realme x2 and not natural. One plus camera is okish doesn't feel that great with amount mega pixel on it.

Google's Pixel 4xl should not be retailing for more than 34k max and pixel 3xl should be under 25k now. The pricing of 70k to 90k is totally unacceptable.

the phone is not launching in india so not sure what you are complaining about.

there exists a great upgrade model for nexus 5x (or pixel 2 in my case)... it's called samsung Galaxy s10e. it is reasonably priced. it has top of the line specifications. and it has all the extras like water proofing, wireless charging and of course samsung pay. and it costs around 47K.

and if you do want a pure google phone... wait for pixel 4a. it would not have a top of the line processor but it would still be a massive upgrade from nexus 5x. would have a pretty solid camera. and it should be out in a couple of weeks.

Pixel 4xl is launching on 28th Jan as per Google search in India , and it doesn't matter if India launch is not happened yet , high price is not helping.
They seem to be pushing pixel a series in India.and it makes no sense to buy it, with plasticy body it does with with 32k price tag.

I don't like Samsung s10 plus it's too huge.

Gonna wait for pixel 4xl launch in India and let's see how it goes..

The pricing of the Pixel 4 devices is just stupid.

I was waiting on Pixel 4 & Pixel 4XL to upgrade my Pixel 2XL, but it doesn't seem to be a good deal. And the only reason I am using a Pixel phone is for its camera. I'd rather invest in a Sony A series mirrorless camera than buying a Pixel 4 device, if it's just about the camera.

Me 2 and i os too on Google device even in my current Nexus 5x, it runs faster than my cousin's OnePlus 6, moto g5.

Google is wanting in India to people buy their plasticy A series.of pixel.
But.one is better off buying a more premium phone in 30k range than to go with pixel a series.

Most of the folks consider OnePlus to be an alternative. With OnePlus 8 rumoured to be sporting a 120 hertz display by Samsung, would you consider buying it? I think it will fall into the 50-60k category, the pro model.

the question was not aimed at me. anyways.

if my pixel 2 dies today... i would be buying s10e. s10 lite is looking tempting with its huge battery... but i really want to get a wireless charging enabled phone so s10e it would be.

i haven't read anything about pixel 4 series launching in india later this month. i doubt google has received permission to enable soli here in india so if they do launch, i assume soli would be disabled. i would not waste my money on it even though i have never liked a non-nexus/pixel phone in the past. but i have had enough with google's bullshit with lack of features. my pixel 2 still cannot do volte on airtel. vowifi is also going to remain missing permanently. the phone was in warranty till last month. is supposed to get security patches for a few more months at least. it's better to look at alternatives.

I dropped.my Nexus 5x today on screen 1st and it broke. Display and touch is OK. Asked LG guy he is asking 3.6k
Need see of I can get only glass replaced till I decide which phone to upgrade to.

I have dropped this phone so any times and never screen broke, seems I broke it's hear putting on this thread . Nexus 5x is still amazing loyal phone and amazing pics which can still put 30k plus phones to shame.
I think any Nexus users would love how light phone feels. OnePlus, realms x2, and Redmi note feel like a brick.

Still gonna wait for pixel launch let's see pricing .
