Google Play Music (RIP)

One thing at a time. At least now I can buy obscure songs that are not easily gettable from other sources. Though there is a lot of bullshit. Bombay soundtrack does not have Humma song. Some songs are only gettable if I pay for the complete album. No wonder people don't buy songs and subscriptions are popular.

for Spotify, keep your VPN location to USA, buy the plan and once your registered, you can disconnect vpn and start playing without vpn.

nothing comes close to spotify for english songs

This is most noticeable when the 1 GB of fast data is up;
The speed for everything else (YouTube, even Google searches) is slowed down to mere kilobytes, yet google play music streaming can reach speeds upwards of 9 MB/s?

That's possible, however when I googled it I saw no info, if they had a partnership, why would they keep it secret

net neutrality

they don't need to advertise it and attract unwanted fuss, most isp have peering agreement with google some pass the benefit to consumer with faster speed, some dont

though it still seems unlikely that reliance would provide unrestricted access to a competing service.

Even if that is true, why would only Play Music get unrestricted speeds?

This most likely has to do with the new affordable Google x Jio phone coming out, but I can't be sure.
