Maybe the idea of buying legitimate digital music is not popular within India. On top of that, lesser margins because of poor currency conversion ratio. Look at Flyte Music. It crashed & burned! It's still a growing market in a very initial level.
The bollywood music which is being produced these days is so crappy that majority of their mainstream listeners won't waste a buck on it. Very few producers such as A .R. Rahman are making an impact & producing awesome music. I don't know the name of Aashiqui 2 music producer but some songs are pretty good especially when we compare it to crap-load of indian hip hop versions which are being mass produced these days.
For the past couple of weeks, the audio output on my Nexus 4 has been pretty sub standard when playing stuff via Google PlayMusic. To confirm, I've played the same songs via YouTube and Apollo and the sound reproduction is great.
Anyone else experiencing the same?
Distortion is extreme on music purchased via the iTunes store.
