i cannot find the exact version which added this feature. but references on the official documentation told me that it was at least present in android 1.5. could be wrong though.

Got the Google Play Market finally.

I got the update two days ago, it just showed some terms and conditions.And I was searching for Market, today morning.I searched for it for like 15 minutes, and handed my phone to my friend to search it Realized after a while that Market is now Google Play :sidefrown:

It's called Google Play Store now. version is 3.4.7.

Is this for all Google/Gmail users? I mean even if the user don't have an Android device?

it is for people who are not even logged in. google play is going to be their version of the Apple itunes. so it is not just about android market. but it's usability outside the US market is likely to be very limited.
