Android Developers Blog: Building a safer Google Play for kids

If children are part of your target audience, you must meet policy requirements in your app concerning content and handling of personally identifiable information.
Ads in your app that are served to children need to be appropriate and served from an ads network that has certified compliance with our families policies.
If children are not part of your target audience, you should make sure your app does not unintentionally appeal to them. We will double check your app marketing to confirm this and ask you to make adjustments where required.

Hello Sushubh,
In the coming weeks, Google Play will launch new personalization options that give you more seamless control of your personalization preferences and allow you to better manage your data in Play.
Personalization provides a richer experience in the Play store, helping you discover exciting games, useful apps, relevant offers and much more, all of which is tailored to you. Learn more about personalizing your Google Play Store experience
Once available, these new features - alongside existing Play personalization controls - will be easily accessible by visiting Personalization in Play from the Google Play Store menu. This new destination will be a one-stop-shop for tailoring your personalization preferences in Play, giving you a more powerful way to:
• Manage all of your personalization options on Google Play and easily view activity and access personalization controls
• Choose which apps, books or other library items are used to personalize your Google Play experience. With one click you will be able to exclude use of Play data associated with that app for personalization in Play. Some examples of data that would be excluded for that app would include when you install or uninstall it, purchases that you make in it and your app activity. Learn more about new personalization options
With these enhanced controls you can ensure that you have a better Play experience that is personalized to you and continues to respect your privacy preferences.
Should you have any questions please visit our Help Center or get in touch.
Thank you for using Google Play!

15 days from now they would send another mail saying they are deprecating these features.

Hello Sushubh,
We've updated settings that manage personalisation and activity history on Play. You'll have dedicated controls for personalisation on Play and for saving activity in your Google Account's Play History, and these settings will be easily accessible in the Google Play menu.
In the past, personalisation and history on Play were managed by Web & App Activity (WAA) settings in your Google Account. Going forwards, WAA will no longer control Play personalisation and Play History. Instead, you'll be able to manage those settings directly on Play, and you'll see this change in your account in the next few days. Learn more about Play personalisation and Play History
When the transition happens for your account, your Play settings will be based on the most recent choice that you made in WAA, so your experience will stay the same. If you have WAA turned on during the transition, which is happening over the next few days, then your Play personalisation and Play History settings will be on, and if WAA is off, then Play personalisation and Play History will be off. As before, you’ll be able to choose how long your activity is saved in your Play History and if you want to delete it from Play History manually or automatically.
After the transition is complete, WAA and Play settings will be separate, and changes to one will no longer affect the other. You can view and change your Play privacy settings in Personalisation in Play at any time. Learn more about the transition and how it affects your settings
Thanks for using Google Play!
