^ Quite a helpful feature. Has saved me many embarrassments :D I still wish they have something to pull back a sent yet unread mail from the recipient's inbox :D
 
Pulling back unread mail is impossible ..unless they specially design such feature for emails from gmail to gmail :D
 
Yes but that wud become huge privacy concern atleast in USA.. because that wud allow sender to find out whether receipient read the message OR not.
 
there have been a few technologies like self destructing email :D but of course. u can't stop people from printscreening them or even taking photos.

and you are forgetting that wave was exactly what you are looking for.

it was an hosted email type alternative.

if you send someone a message, it was accessible to you to make corrections or totally remove it.

It looks like an extension of their spam detection technology which 'learns' as you go. So over a period of time it categorises frequently deleted mails from Inbox as Spam directly, and vice versa.
