gmail actually store canned responses in draft folder. you can actually see them if you go into flaky connection mode. they are hidden in regular mode. its weird that they are removed when the add-on is disabled. sad actually.
well yeah. google gears. enable offline browsing. flaky connection mode actually is pretty cool. emails are read from the offline cache. so it is even faster than usual... i use it when there are more than 50 mails to check out. i can go through them faster because they are read from the local cache instead of the web... it is designed to be used on flaky connections (fluctuating). so it sync with the server regularly. but you access the offline data. its pretty cool
