Recent invitees do not get to invite others. We will grow from sign-ups and the invite queue. Active users might get invite wave later ...

I agree.

My google wave a/c is just sitting there and I do not really know what to do with it.

I have been playing around with it. It has potential but one can not really give it a test run unless one has friends to collaborate with. :frown:

I just discovered with: public search operator. It enables you to search waves from across the world. So, I guess I can start using wave to some degree.

I think Wave is meant to be a superset of all the social media thingy like twitter, facebook, etc..

heh. google wave is turning out to be too complex for most people who are getting access to it.

Google is usually know for simplicity.I'll have to play with Wave for a couple of days to pass judgement. :OWave is unknown territory as of now.

I have been playing around (or trying to) with wave for the past day and a half.My verdict is :meh: :imbored:Those of you who are clamoring for an invite, you are not missing out on much by not having a wave account.It does not have mail integration, one cannot communicate using wave unless one has a wave account, it's complicated.Unless they integrate mail, add twitter/facebook integration and stuff, I wonder what this will be useful for?This may seem useful to people who work in a project at office. But, I can't seem to find it useful for normal users like me.It needs work or maybe I need to get used to it more. I am leaning towards the former at the moment.

heh you are forgetting one thing. its about collaboration so it is not going to be much useful if you are not into that kind of stuff. also its in very early stage of development. lots of things are probably planned to make it more useful for almost everyone. and it is definitely not a replacement of email...
