Google Wave is now Apache Wave!

heh. at least in my group of friends, no one seems to have found any use for wave. even i have stopped logging in. i do run the notifier to stay updated with the new waves that arrive in my inbox.

i scrapped wave within 5 mins infact i dont see ppl talking abt it much, i.e. its not becoming popular.

if you look at the public stream on wave, you would see massive activity going on on the wave platform.

no one can really tell the amount of activity being going on privately.

activity is ok, because google is popular, ppl tend to try it when they get an invite. we need to know how many ppl return and get kind of addicted to it. i dont think there wud be many.

... it set a high bar for what was possible in a web browser. And that is why it fell down hard!

Wave has taught us a lot, not to come up with stupid idea!
