since the past 4 days, my mobile office internet on computer has starting disconnecting between every 4 to 7 minutes...i tried arguing with the customer care folks but they said it might be because of a virus...so next day i tried these things.1) i checked the data cable... works fine, no problem...2) checked the USB wires inside the computer... works fine, no problem...3) downloaded the lastest version of norton anti-virus from office and downloaded the latest virus defenitions along with it... installed it on my computer... found one virus... but it was a useless harmless software crack so issue still unresolved.4) formatted my computer (all drives) during the wee hours of 3 in the morning... re-installed xp but issue still prevailed.5) took my mobile phone and the driver along with me in a pen drive... stormed a friends computer... installed driver... configured sh1t up perfect... clicked "connect"... it connected... after 7 minutes, the fu@king thing disconnects...so...has my sim card been black-listed???is there a problem with the sim card???did anybody else face this problem???how the hell do you explain this problem at the showroom???

Same Problem with megprs connection is disconnecting after every 5 minit's airtel network problem nothing wrong on our sideif you find any solution for this please post the same

I've faced the same problem in the past, had to struggle a lot to get this working, I even got my gprs connection reset, sim changed, nothing worked. Finally after updating my phone's firmware, the problem went away.P.S.: Try your sim in a friends phone, gprs would work fine. :-)

was busy!anyways, the disconnection problem was "entirely" airtels... this problem was faced by entire airtel users in my area. it started working fine about 2-3 weeks ago.i called airtel customer services and those bastards didn't even tell what the heck was going on...i had an appointment with a local doctor and thats when i came to know that our local airtel tower had collapsed entirely. that explained the reason why my cell info display was showing a city that was miles away.anyways, the problem sustained for a month and in this period i had already bought a new vodafone prepaid card.i now have bought a chinese phone which can dually work on two sim cards. airtel and vodafone in my case. :thumbsup:anybody still facing a similar problem better call 121 and throw a mouthful at those call centre bastards. those fu@kas do a good job in convincing people that its not a problem on airtels side but its on your side.for those who think airtels all straight edge and sh1t... think again!!!
