Because in Past, We can see that GTA 5 was going to be released on Early 2013 but got delayed to Late 2013. (Gap of 8 months appx.)
So, Usually Rockstar Games delay there games (Due to 'Polish') or you can say Beta-Testers bug finding (obv. they are lazy

One of the rumors is that Rockstar might lock a single player mission with an item people will need to unlock in GTA online. If that happens, bye bye GTA for me. Anyway this might be the most expensive game title in history. Cool.
