Happy Republic Day

typical bullshit. whatever happened to let's boycott the republic day because of the mockery this government has made of the whole concept of republic and democracy?
 
For some unfortunate incidents, let's not show disrespect to the 'festival of nation'. Let's be patriotic on this day, agony can be shown on some other day. :)
 
wait. the whole concept of our fundamental rights are being mocked by the government. what are we supposed to do? celebrate it like an imaginary festival like festivus?
 
Republic day! Wait, Do we have any reason to celebrate republic day? I cant think of anything.. This government hasn't given me any reason to celebrate.

Am least bothered about Republic day! What am bothered about is my 1 day leave got wasted as this republic day came on Sat :-(
 
Well at least I will be extremely excited and enthusiastic tomorrow morning for reciting the national anthem when the flag will be hoisted in my society. Such an occasion comes only twice a year and it certainly gets my adrenaline pumping.

Yes, According to labour law in India - Working on 26th Jan & 15th Aug & Nov 1(Karnataka Rajyaotsaba in KA) is illegal. I remember, Couple of year back when I was in training in my first job we were called for some training in office on 01 Nov, After some time the police came and everybody was asked to go home!
 
too bad... it is rare for people to get holiday on national holidays these days. especially for people working in the IT sector. even more so for people working in BPO and KPO industries. they do get holidays during the american holidays :D which i guess works out better for them!
