A Rohtak-based NGO has moved the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to ascertain the whereabouts of Kamal Makhija, a Gohana youth who tried to slap Haryana CM Bhupinder Hooda on Feburary 2 at Panipat during a road show of the Congress.Contrary to Kamal's father Mahesh Makhija's claims that his son is safe, former Rohtak MLA Subhash Batra, who heads an NGO for human rights, in a complaint to NHRC alleged that Kamal's family is under pressure and the youth is missing."Nobody has seen him since February 2 and he is not at home. Police claim he is not in their custody. Where is he? Since the government can do anything, we approached the NHRC,'' Batra said.
