Hathway Connection Issue.

I recently reset my PC and downgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 7. Now while my Hathway WI-Fi works fine, I use a LAN cable with my PC as it does not have Wi-Fi and I just can't connect. I called them up and they said I probably don't have the needed drivers. I've been searching for them, but can't find them. It's a Motorola SB5101U SURFboard Cable Modem.

That's not a driver thing. When you plug into the modem, it checks your ethernet card MAC address with the one in their database. If it is not there, it will not connect.

Call them up and tell them to update the MAC address in your account to the one on your PC. Then when you plug in everything should be fine.
