I'm using a pendrive to record some of the videos on Hathway's Set Top Box. But, when i plug it into the PC, it asks me to format the pendrive. I guess the file system used by the pendrive is not supported by the Windows. Can anyone say how i can play the recorded videos on my PC?

You can try formatting it to the other Filesystem which is different from the one you are running. Like FAT32 to NTFS and Vice-versa.
The other problem could be the set top box is made to play the videos locally via the drive. If that's the case then Hathway set top box should be used I guess.

Actually, once formated by the STB, the pendrive doesn't display in the PC. This means that the file system of STB is not supported by the PC.
So, the file system should be something complicated. I check for some tools on Internet. But, not sure how to find out.
