Right now, just app backup/restore to/from a computer browser is implemented. Will be working on cloud backup and sync (via Google Drive) next. Probably only works on Firefox and Chrome. IE blows.

[1] Current version requires root. The rootless version has a PC side install that I am not ready to alpha/release yet.

can someone please tell me how it is different from titanium backup? and what role does browser play?

from the screenshot, it appears to be similar to airdroid. the app works like a web server allowing you to backup apps along with data using a web browser on your computer. currently, it requires root. but he is working on a desktop app that would remove that need. and you would be able to backup apps along with the data on your computer using your web browser. eventually he plans to add support for cloud backup to google drive etc. i have not used titanium backup so not sure.

righto. this app aims to make the process simpler by allowing backups on computer using wifi. and it would be perfect if the need for root is removed which he eventually plans to do!

Carbon Beta 2

New Features:

Dropbox support
Save Groups/batches of apps
Select All apps for backup
Backup app data only

Fixes:
Backup/restore window now only pops up once, instead of once per app.
"Backup now" and "Restore now" button is now automatically pressed.
