Looks like that seems to be the case. Shows up on BSNL Kerala tariff page also.

It appears to be the case. But that capping to 375 GB was restricted to few circles, not pan India.
Called customer care to confirm the case.

I also might have used around 375-ish from my last recharge. Although i cannot confirm the same. (OnePlus only saves data usage records for the current month)

A similar thing happened around in July-August 19 where data speeds where botched.

My circle recharge thing says different story though. Checked bsnl website and bsnl app. Both suggests it is still unlimited with 84 days.

@varkey Nope this is not the first time im using this plan, im using this plan since 1 year, this is my 4th or 5th recharge , never had any issues, i use around 300-500gb a month.
Since recharge of current plan i might used around 400gb.
How can you guys use so much data on a 3G mobile connection? Do you use it as a hotspot for streaming and downloading videos? If so, what speed do you get?

@Lobogris Yes. I use it as my primary connection. It powers 4 devices.
On an average day speed varies from 7-12 Mbps.

Light web browsing from podcasts to music to youtube vids during the day. To 1080p Netflix, Hotstar, Tata Sky Online content on TV after dark.
This roughly gets around 7-10 Gigs on an average. Somedays are completely off. Few days are for binge watching (weekends)

A T20 match for 4 hours will take around 4-5 gigs.

This is the only carrier and only plan that offers this freedom. Satisfaction of unlimited. Unlimited.

Do you get consistent 7 to 12Mbps? Your streaming video on Netflix or YouTube doesn't buffer? I can't imagine using a mobile connection as the primary home Internet connection on a long term basis.

@Lobogris i move at times. Fiber connection infeasible at my location. Temporary solution until i find a better solution.

Yes, consistent 7-12 Mbps. No it doesn't buffer at all at the Highest settings. (if connection remains undivided).

You cannot compare this temporary thing with 1Gbps stable fiber connection.

Thread:- if Bsnl has really botched this 1098 STV. Then i don't know what options are left.

but the message i which i received after recharging counted 84 days not 75 days, now im confused , seems like there are 2 plans also 1099 and 1098 and 1099 is pure unlimited, previously i used to recharge with 1099 this i did with 1098.

@skpatel71 me and my friend had the exact same problem as you both have the same 1098 plan. Problem started on Saturday and persisted until today. But half an hour ago the problem seem to have been rectified and the connection is working again. Both mine and my friend's. Before that we were getting 4 kbps.U should also check ur connection maybe its working. And i checked on bsnl twitter other people also seemed to have the same problem with the 1098 plan.
Hope ur connection works it is the last truly unlimited plan in India.
