[help] how to configure mt841 for airtel wifi?

i m using smartax mt841 modem. Although i am able to connect through cable but not through wifi.I have tried configurnig the settings , my laptop connects to wifi but none of the sites are opening.Can anyone help me where i am going wrong????

Try without any security key also.
Check the mac address filter disable it. Also if any white list is seen disable it.
Presume you get the SSID of MT841 in your laptop.

or upload as screenshot wifi settings page of Mt841 for checking.

CONFIGURATION
Change channel to No 11.
in computer
Start run type cmd Ok
new window
type ipconfig /all
copy/paste only WLAN data here ( No tunnel data )

Also in network/ WLAN/ properties page on top
wlan card Select configure
check enabled drivers Advanced settings etc.
Mention OS used.

changed the channel to 11 even then no success
dying 2 use wifi onto my lappy and mobile.........
also followed the giude 2 configure bt no effect

Do you see any other WIFI network in your network settings.

did you configured modem with ISP user/pass?modem connects to internet automatically when you do so. no need to connect to internet manually from desktop.after you config ISP user/pass into modemconfig wifi with wep method none & check.

sorry i was busy for few days....
i hv downloaded team viewer n pm u my id n pass..
one thing i want to ask ....is that when i m connected 2 net via cable i m not able to see any wifi networks...is it ok???

if you are on LAN connection Wifi network is not seen. Normal.
When you enable WIFI disconnect the LAN cable from computer ( laptop)
or disable ethernet connection.
Does not apply if using windows 7 OS.

Better copy/paste following data:
In computer
Start/ RUn type cmd Ok
New window
type ipconfig /all
Only LAN and WLAN data needed.
try to delete all tunnel data if seen.
